In 2016 the Moscow-based firm ABD Architects redesigned the interiors of the corporate offices of Swatch Moscow. As part of the new look the architects commissioned artists, who had previously illustrated watches for the company, to submit ideas for the interiors of the office’s washrooms. The brief was simple: ignore typical washroom design and create an exciting and colourful space. The results speak for themselves. Whether you’re surrounded by colour fields, polka dots or abstracted characters, each space is a new, lively experience. The repair shop at the head office may be pristine and orderly, but the washrooms are playful oases.
