1. Mary Ellen Bartley / Artist

This comprehensive line of home and office accessories is made of 3D printed recycled plastics. The series, developed by a collaboration of UK designers, includes 20 objects in a unique palette of 10 different colours.


6. Karen Margolis / Sculptor

Manhattan-based sculptor Margolis works with synthetic materials and found objects to construct sumptuous organic environments.

7. Robert Burle Marx / Landscape Architect

During his lifetime, Brazilian Roberto Burle Marx transformed garden design into an art form with his stunningly modern and graphic creations.

8. KAPITZA / Geometry Book

Two German sisters, Petra & Nicole Kapitza, have a mission “to cover the world with positive and uplifting works of art.” See more of their work here.



9. Tiffany Windows / Newcastle, Ontario

This past year I learned about a pair of exceptional stained glass windows at St. George’s Anglican Church in Newcastle, Ontario. Designed by Tiffany Studios, they were added to the 1857 structure in 1904. An American business tycoon commissioned the pair to honour his wife, who grew up in the small Ontario town.
